Car history: |
In 1971 Dealer Installed LT1 & F41. Mid 1970s PW (A31), T/T (N37) Added. Unrestored - Orig. Paint. Axle ratio is 3.70:1. Motor suffix code is V0619CTH. Barry:"I still have this corvette, I have owned it since new, 40 years. Regarding the motor, it was originally a 350hp motor, which share many of the same parts as the LT-1. (Forged crank, "pink"rods, 11:1 forged TRW pistons, 2.02 heads). In 1971, with cooperation from the dealer, added the LT-1 intake, Holley carb and solid lifter cam. I didn't really need to change the heads, however I did, as the LT-1 heads were 2.02 as well, however they had the push rod guides. The 350hp 2.02 heads do not have push rod guides. This work was done with the dealer so as to preserve the 5 year warranty. I doubt you could do these kind of mods today and still have warranty". Seen on 1970corvetteregistry.org, on July 21, 2010.
